I'm a graduate of Durham University, obtaining a first class Master of Physics (MPHYS) with honors in 2015 and a PhD in 2019. My PhD thesis explored the use of many-core CPU systems for the real-time control of Extremely Large Telescope Adaptive Optics. I spent 18 months working as an AO RTC Postdoc at Gemini Observatory to design and develop a CPU based RTC for the next generation Gemini North multi-conjugate AO system. Now I work on the ESA/ESO CaNaPy experiment based at ESO as an Internal Research Fellow of ESA.
